The CMCA house is coming along. The foundation will begin soon!

The CCLT and it’s partners have a LOT going on right now!

Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) has begun work on their Lynn Street home! They began digging footings for the foundation and the weather was beautiful! This will be the last house built on Lynn Street.

On Monday, May 7th the City Council approved the purchase of property on N. Eighth street. This property, in addition to what was already owned on N. Eighth, will allow the CCLT and their partners to build approximately 12 homes!

Job Point is still continuing work on Oak Street, and the two more homes will be closing soon on Lynn Street!

Job Point has begun work on another home for the Columbia Community Land Trust! This project is on Oak Street and it began with the take down of a massive tree! Take a look at all of their progress!

On April 26th the Columbia Community Land Trust celebrated a Ribbon Cutting with the future homeowners, members of the Columbia community, Chamber of Commerce and their many partners.

Those partners include, The City of Columbia, Providence Bank, R. Anthony Development, House of Brokers, Job Point, Monarch Title, Central Missouri Community Action, Show-Me Central Habitat for Humanity, Crockett Engineering, Moore and Shyrock, Beacon of Hope Foundation, Centro Latino, Ridgeway Neighborhood Association, and Dogwood Solar.

The CCLT is so happy for these future homeowners and looks forward to many years of affordable, sustainable and permanent housing for our community!

Our speakers included Randy Cole, Housing Programs Supervisor City of Columbia, James Heard Housing and Urban Development St. Louis Field Office Director, Clyde Ruffin Council Member Ward 1, Mike Trapp Council Member Ward 2, and Jerry Dowell CCLT Board President.

The four Lynn St. Cottages are under contract! If you aren’t able to make it to the Ribbon cutting for tours, we’ve added a few more pictures of the completed homes!

Spacious rooms and a beautiful master bathroom are just a few of the wonderful features that these universally designed homes include! Only a few finishing touches and these homes will be ready for buyers!

The CCLT has made so much progress with the building of these homes! We are so happy to show off what progress has been made within the last several months!
